Benevolence Fund

Back the Blue & Red

Often those who serve us in Public Safety can go through very stressful and trying times.  The Chaplain's Benevolence fund (CBF) was established to help meet the special and unexpected financial needs of those who so faithfully serve and protect us.  Your interest and help both financial and otherwise in the CBF is greatly appreciated.

What is the CBF?

The Chaplain’s Benevolence Fund seeks to help meet the special needs that arise in the life of those that faithfully serve and protect us. In this role, the CBF provides financial support to Southaven law enforcement and fire personnel and their families during a time of crisis. The CBF also provides the following;
  • Clothing
  • Food
  • Lodging
  • Medical supplies
  • Payments for uncovered medical expenses
Every penny given to this fund is used only to help meet the special and unexpected needs of our public servants. The CBF can only accomplish these goals with the help of those of you who contribute to the CBF. Help support those who faithfully serve and protect the citizens, businesses, and guests of the City of Southaven.
