Congratulations to Wes Brown who was hired as our new Parks and Recreation Director!  Wes is a '97 graduate of Southaven High School and '04 graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

He came to work for our City in '05 in our Parks Department and served as Assistant Athletic Director; transferred and worked in Finance and Administration in Human Resources; then held the positions of Deputy Parks Director and Interim Parks Director before accepting his new position Tuesday night.

We are excited about the direction of our Parks and Recreation's future under Wes' leadership.
