"Ask, and you receive" sometimes!  One wish I've had as Mayor has been to see an improved entrance to our City and State since we are the northern gateway to Mississippi along Interstate 55.  Hopefully, in the future, we will be able to do other things to beautify our interchanges and city entrances.  This is a start, and originated with a simple request to MDOT Commissioner Mike Tagert and MDOT District Engineer Mitch Turner to remove the sign from the previous location near Goodman Rd. and replace it with a larger sign northward to the actual state line.
