Last night, our Board of Aldermen accepted the lowest bid of $1,674,000 to add 8 new tennis courts with pavilion, bathrooms, covered seating, and additional parking to our Snowden Grove Tennis Complex.  Construction is scheduled to begin in November with projected completion by June, 2017.

In 2015, the City extended Pine Tar Alley Rd. to Malone Rd. via Freeman Ln. which connected our existing tennis center to Snowden Grove Park.  Both of these projects are funded by the restaurant tourism tax ("A Penny for your Parks").

We believe this will enhance the quality of life for our citizens, as well as improve tourism revenues for our city with Southaven becoming a destination for tennis tournaments attracting players from throughout the Southeast.
