Our Fire and Emergency Medical Services team does an incredible job for our city and recently received the "Every Minute Counts" award for outstanding service in regards to quickly assessing patients and alerting the hospital emergency room of Code Stemi (full-blown heart attack) and Code Stroke (acute stroke) incidents.

Every minute does count and the excellent service our personnel gives saves lives and minimizes damage during these traumatic, life-threatening events.

We're very proud of our Fire/EMS team and know that our city is fortunate to have these outstanding men and women serving us daily.
