Kristian Kelly was born in Masawa, Japan on October 27th, 1982. Both of his parents, Jerry Kelly Sr. and Karla Kelly, retired from the United States Navy in 1994 and 1984, respectively. Kristian was taught at a very early age the importance of discipline and being responsible for his actions.
Through those values, Kristian achieved many feats in life, such as: obtaining the rank of 2nd Degree Senior black belt in Tae Kwon Do, ranking 24th out of over 300 high school students, and scaling Mt. Fuji when he was 13. He was the group leader of a professional music organization, emiNence, from 2004-2005, charter member of the Carolina Panthers Percussion section, and has performed with several professional musicians such as: Bassist Edgar Meyer, Violinist Alexandre Brussilovsky, and Trumpeter Doc Severinsen to name a few.
Kristian attended the University of Southern Mississippi from 2001-2007 and received associate degrees specializing in music at Jones Junior College in 2007.
He married his wife, former Cristina Catalani, on May 9th, 2009. They welcomed their first blessing and son, Caedan, on November 22, 2011.
Kristian is a small business co-owner of My Cherished Moments Photography and CK Dance Theatre. Kristian has taught music since 2001 in Alabama, South Carolina, and Mississippi. He has been teaching music in Desoto County at Lewisburg Middle and High schools for the last 3 years.
